  • Polarization and Spin-Spin correlation in Current and Future Colliders.

Though Standard Model of particle physics is successful experimentally, there is a wide range of evidence suggesting that the current Standard Model is incomplete at the best. One cannot explain the fine tuning of Higgs mass, strong CP-problem, Dark Matter and many more using the current framework of SM. And to explain that shortcomings, there are many models like Supersymmetry, Technicolor, String theory and so on, yet no signature has been seen in favor of any of these models. In this light of negative signal, one of the way to extend SM without violating the basic symmetry of nature is what we call as effective field theory. Currently, we are working on constraining various EFT parameters in electroweak and top sector. Our research tries to project certain things as: 1) Accepting the nature as SM, how much of flexibility does the current data give for the existence of new physics. 2) Falvor Tagging: We use machine learning to tag jets initiated by light flavor quarks. This field is highly evolving due to the importance of jet physics. 3) Spin of a particle provides a large number of observables to scan for any deviation from SM. We construct spin-related observables like polarization and spin-spin correlations. and use them as an observables to constrain anomalous couplings. 4) Future Collider like ILC would use polarized beams which would increase the significance of signal. We study to understand the novelty of initial beam polarization in ILC.
